It was not a trip it was an experience that I would never have missed. Old or young I can recommend it to everyone. Go for it especially if you have a camera!!!
Our time on the island was an amazing experience that we will remember for a very long time. If you're thinking about booking for next year, we would highly recommend it. We were very glad that we opted to camp overnight and could not have been better looked after from the bleary-eyed gathering at Uig pier until returning weary but happy 36 hours later.
Visiting St Kilda is breathtaking, bewitching, and a surreal experience with a great guided tour available to allow you to fully understand how this vanished community survived against the odds, leaving memories that will never be forgotten.

A huge thank you to Derek and Nicola for an absolutely fantastic trip. St Kilda itself is genuinely world class but the warmth of Derek and Nicola's hospitality, their knowledge and unalloyed enthusiasm made the trip all the more memorable. I'll be back with my wife soon guys, Orcas next time please... ;-)

The crossing was an amazing experience over the wild Atlantic and the little boat got us there with ease. But, once on the island, I was in a sort of daze. This was so much more than I could have ever dreamed of! The weather was fantastic, and the guided tour was well worth the extra fiver. But then we were left to our own devices, and just walking up and down the village street surrounded by the history of the harshest living environments in the British Isles was nothing short of a spiritual experience. Four hours on the island flew by like four minutes and, before I knew it, we were back on the boat heading for Skye.
Went to St Kilda for two day camping trip in party of five, transfer to and from island by Integrity was flawless with passenger comfort and safety a priority by operators with CCTV survelience of deck passengers an additional precaution. We were provided with comprehensive adventure guides and information on species sighted, chiefly basking sharks and minke whales. I found the Uig departure point convenient as you didn't have to meet ferry timetables and incurr additional ferry costs to make the trip.
This was a trip of a life time, made even better by Derek and Nicola our tour guide and skipper. Could not have been better.
